Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane, Australia
Anna Graduated from the University of Queensland in 2016 and has since been dedicated to helping patients improve their health, restore movement, and achieve their functional goals. Anna has worked across a range of conditions to deliver individualised treatment and rehabilitation programs. Having hypermobility herself, Anna understands the unique challenges it can present with and recognises the limited support often available for people with symptomatic hypermobility. This experience inspired Anna to develop a strong professional interest in helping others manage their symptoms, improve joint stability, and build confidence in movement. With a commitment to evidence-based practice, Anna has completed further training in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Pilates and Women’s Health, allowing for a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.
With over 9 years experienced as a physiotherapist Anna is dedicated to expanding her expertise in the management of H-EDS/HSD, and their associated symptoms through continuous professional development. She is actively engaged in personal mentoring with principal physiotherapist Sharon Hennessey, refining her clinical approach and staying at the forefront of evidence-based practices in hypermobility-related conditions.
Anna has level 1 & 2 women’s health/pelvic floor physiotherapy training. This allows her to assist with stress incontinence, urge incontinence, pelvic floor weakness and pelvic floor over-activity issues. These skills, blended with her training in hypermobility, give her a unique perspective into problems around the hips, pelvis and back.
